How can an everyday object make us feel like we're levitating?
This is the challenge Mathieu Forget took on with Bastille Cycles.
Through this collaboration, Mathieu Forget seeks to capture a true sense of freedom: spontaneous movement, the simplicity of moving without limits.
A bicycle that folds and unfolds along the journey, almost disappearing into the city… only to reappear and flow with everyday life.
The photographs came to life naturally, capturing fleeting moments across la Défense, Boulogne and Paris.
The Bastille E isn’t just a way to get around, it’s an invitation to move differently.
This project tells the story of an agile, creative and mobile Paris.
Ingenious, light and adaptable, blending into the city like a moment suspended in the air.
To celebrate the launch, Mathieu Forget designed a 3 day public exhibition in the heart of le Marais - Paris.
