ABOUT THE ARTIST 

Mathieu Forget alias Forgetmat is a world renowned movement artist and creative director who specializes in movement and levitation art.
Originally from Paris, dancer, photographer and performer, he embodies a new vision of dance that is both digital and real.

Through his videos and photos seen by millions, this "Flying Man" has flown around around the globe to steal unique moment and create in a modern and original way. His body is set in motion only to make people look and admire an architecture, a landscape or a horizon.

At the invitation of the French Institute in Turkey, in November 2021, he discovered 5 cities in 2 weeks.
He suspended, choreographed and magnified time while discovering the beautiful country of Türkiye. The salt lake of Anatolia, staged in an unreal and poetic way, already constitutes an iconic image of his work.

This interactive and digital exhibition, presented as part of the Solo Contemporary Dance Festival at the Cer Modern museum, is an appointment with gravity, a new “invitation to travel”. So open your eyes, use your phones, go on a trip and dance with Forgetmat because you are his guests!
